How we work

Every job runs the same way, whether it is a dripping tap or a full system replacement. You speak to someone local when you ring — not a call centre reading from a script — and describe the problem in your own words. We tell you what we charge before we set off, so the rate is never something you discover on the invoice.

For repairs, servicing and general plumbing that means our hourly rates, agreed up front. For new boilers and bathrooms it means a free survey and a fixed written quote that does not move once work starts. Where a job needs a part we do not carry, you will hear the cost and the timescale before we order anything.

The same Gas Safe registered engineers do all of it. The person who services your boiler in October is the person who comes out when a pipe bursts in February, and installation work carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee and repairs carry 90 days, on top of any manufacturer warranty on the parts.

What we don't do

We think it is worth being straight about this. We are a plumbing and heating firm, so we do not take on general building work, and we do not sell your details to anyone else — every enquiry that comes to us is handled by us. If a job genuinely needs a different trade, we will tell you rather than take it on and learn on your house.

We also will not talk you into a new boiler you do not need. If your existing one is sound and needs a part, that is what we will tell you, even though the repair is worth a fraction of an installation to us.

We are based in Tonbridge and work across the whole of Kent and into East Sussex every week — Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Maidstone, Paddock Wood, West Malling, Edenbridge, Crowborough and the villages in between. You can check your area or ring us and ask; if we cover you, we will say so, and if we do not, we will say that too.
