We charge a flat rate of £95* for a boiler service — no hidden extras. Got more than one appliance? Each additional appliance serviced on the same visit is charged at half price. *Price excludes VAT.
Your annual service keeps most manufacturer warranties valid, catches small faults before they become winter breakdowns, and includes a flue gas safety check by our Gas Safe registered engineer.

What's actually checked in a service
A service is not just a quick look and a sticker. Our engineer works through the manufacturer’s schedule for your boiler, which means checking that it is burning correctly and safely, not simply that it switches on.
Combustion analysis
Flue gas readings taken with a calibrated analyser and compared against the manufacturer’s figures — the single most important test in the whole service.
Seals, case and flue
Case seals checked for integrity and the flue inspected along its length and at its terminal, so combustion products go outside and stay there.
Gas rate and pressure
Confirming the boiler is getting the gas it should and burning the right amount of it.
Internal components
Burner, heat exchanger and condensate trap inspected and cleaned as needed, rather than only when something has already failed.
Controls and safety devices
Testing that the safety devices actually operate, plus the controls, pressure and any visible leaks on the system.
Why an annual service is worth booking
Most manufacturer warranties require an annual service by a Gas Safe registered engineer, recorded properly. Miss one and you can find the warranty you paid for will not pay out when you need it — which is an expensive way to save a service fee.
Beyond the warranty, a service is when small things get caught: a condensate trap starting to block, a seal going, pressure creeping down. Those are cheap to deal with in September and miserable to deal with in January.
Landlord gas safety certificates
If you let a property, you have a legal duty to have every gas appliance and flue checked every twelve months by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and to give your tenant a copy of the record. We carry out landlord checks across Kent and issue the certificate on the day.
Where a property has more than one gas appliance — a boiler plus a gas hob or fire — each additional appliance checked on the same visit is charged at half the standard rate rather than a second full fee.

Repairs and maintenance are charged at clear hourly rates — £95* for the first hour (the first hour is always billable), then £47.50* per hour thereafter, plus any materials, confirmed with you before we fit them. Payment is taken by the engineer on the day. New boiler installations are quoted separately with a free fixed written quote. *Prices exclude VAT.
